Getting a breast cancer diagnosis at age 28 was shocking to say the least. As a nurse, I thrive on caring for and supporting others during such uncertain times. I was so fortunate though to have so many kind people reach out to me and show there support during diagnosis, surgery, chemo and radiation. I will remember every thoughtful text, card, care package, and phone call. I am not only grateful for my friends and family, but the acquaintances and even strangers who were so kind to reach out.
